Our Story
I started making things for friends.
That's really it. In 2025 I bought a laser and fell in love with it. I made gifts for the people I knew — weddings, b'nai mitzvah, holidays, birthdays — and somewhere in the middle of all of it I realized this wasn't just a hobby anymore.
I'm Melissa Krumbein, Creative Mastermind of Jewniverse Crafts, working out of Richmond, Virginia. I use a laser cutter to make personalized Jewish gifts that actually mean something. Wood plaques, shelf sitters, challah boards, coasters, wine tags — each one made for a specific person and a specific moment.
I know the people I make things for. I know their families, their celebrations, their sense of humor. That's what makes the difference between a gift and something someone keeps forever.
Tell me what you're celebrating. I'll make you something for it.
